My Retirement Party Photo Gallery. Wayland has weekly free outdoor concerts at the town building, courtesy of the Council on Aging. We’ve gone to three, big band songs, country, and this week it was a steel drum band. It’s a pretty quiet crowd, not a lot of dancing but always pleasant evenings and we enjoy them! There was also a folk music concert by an ensemble that spend the summer walking trails and doing concerts at towns along the way. They did a mix of old folk and original songs. You are commentin...

My Retirement Party Photo Gallery. Anniversary, and I wanted to make him his favorite blueberry pie. I have a checkered past with pie crust. Not something I do often, but I am convinced ready-made pie crust is cheating. Gotta do the real thing! Maybe I should re-think that. Sometime it goes off like clockwork then there are those other times. One in particular involved a broken finger. It’s true. I broke my finger taking out my frustration on a glass pie plate. Not my finest moment. No pie tonight dear!
