Love My Fiber: October 2014
http://lovemyfiber.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 20, 2014. This past week I've been working on a new swing jacket. As I posted on Facebook, this pattern is the worst pattern written in the history of the world. No, I'm not exaggerating. I bought it, along with 2 more, from a vendor named Barb at the Sewing Expo last month. ARGHHHH! It's so comfortable and while it's not super warm it will make for a great Fall jacket. Even including a selfie (ugh! Sunday, October 19, 2014. The new chicken dish was delicious but the pan needs a little TL...

TiLT's creations: Green Steam's Mate
http://tiltcreationstoo.blogspot.com/2011/12/green-steams-mate.html
Saturday, December 10, 2011. This is what my husband wore when we went to the costume party around Halloween. It was the mate to my green steampunk get up. We did not want to get too into it with him since steampunk is my thing, not his. Plus, I wanted to make something that could possibly be re-wearable. Which my son was quite happy about.he quickly claimed the coat as his. The vest is an awesome brocade I got at Haberman Fabrics. The green really popped it. December 11, 2011 at 9:15 PM.

TiLT's creations: December 2011
http://tiltcreationstoo.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 29, 2011. Um, yeah.sooo.this was my pirate costume this past Halloween. Nothing like timely posting :) Actually, it is more like timely picture taking.and posting. This costume gave me some headaches. The vest did anyway. This is the second one. The first got all wonky. I think it was simply a too stretchy fabric for the pattern. Now the fit, well, as you can see, it was not big enough to wrap around to button at the center front. Me neither. But it was Halloween, I could go with it.

Crafty dr. mom. Seeking balance through creativity. September 6, 2011. Most frustrating project ever. Posted by craftydrmom under sewing. On with my story. I saw this tutorial on Made. For a faux chenille blanket and liked it, but had no real reason to make it. Enter about-to-be-baby-boy. Then I was so sure I *had* to make one for him. I didn’t start sewing until after the other two kids were born, so I was really excited to pick a project for this one. Finally, today, after much heartache, I finished it.

Monday, August 26, 2013. Haberman's Selection of Missoni Knits. What's more fun than Missoni fabric? With it's signature zig-zag pattern and old world craftsmanship, it is in the forefront modern fashion. A friend of mine loved the fabric, so I suggested that we make a super-cute, ultra-feminine pencil skirt with it. It was a perfect opportunity for me to get acquainted with this interesting chrochet knit and share my experience. Pink Selvage and Yellow Selvage. On opposite ends of fabric. This loosely-w...
