Building a Home with Habitat for Humanity: June 2011
http://curcihabitathome.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Building a Home with Habitat for Humanity. Saturday, June 4, 2011. Today we broke ground on my new home. We also broke ground on my neighbor, Carolyn's, home. It took us 2 1/2 hours to put up a silt fence on both lots. There is a small playground nearby so the kids were only a helping a little because they wanted to play. I don't blame them, it looked like fun. But there will be time to play when we move in. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sign Up To Volunteer. Rice County Habitat for Humanity.

Building a Home with Habitat for Humanity. Saturday, November 12, 2011. We had group of St. Olaf college students stop by and help us today. They were hard workers and eager to get things done. No one was just standing around. They kept going till it was done. It only took us 4 1/2 hours including a 30-45 minute break for lunch. Not bad for two yards. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Almost everyone has heard of this incredible non-profit organization but most don't know exactly what they do. For more information you can go to either http:/ www.habitatricecounty.org/.
