Which cars does the Habitents fit? The Habitents is for the 2003 through 2015 Prius (but not the little Prius c or the stationwagon like Prius v). What is the Habitents made of? The Habitents is made out of 180T 1500 polyurethane coated polyester tent fabric. Polyester is stronger, more UV resistant and retains its shape better in wind and rain. Polyester is naturally hydrophobic and the polyurethane coating increases its water resistance. What do you do with extra gear when sleeping in the Habitents?

Find the wide black webbing. It is sewn along one long edge and both ends, forming a long thin pocket. With the hatch down, fit one end of the webbing over the front corner of the hatch and feed the wide webbing into the gap between the front of the hatch and the rear of the roof until you reach the other end of the webbing. Slip that end over the other front corner of the hatch. At this point, the webbing should be all the way down in the gap. Reach under the tent and slowly open the hatch all the way.

We originally created Habitents for ourselves in order to provide a comfortable alternative to staying in expensive or sketchy motels during driving trips. In addition, while we have been avid campers for many years, we aren't as eager to sleep on the hard ground as we once were.
