You all know my obsession with street performers. Not just any, but specifically the ones who spend their time costumed, painted, and frozen, all in the name of a few euros (or whatever the currency may be). I have always been fascinated by how they dream up this crazy idea and carry it out day after day. This is my dedication to the best! I hope these people know they're appreciated (probably not by everyone, but certainly by me! And continue to practice their 'art' for many many more years!

Before arriving, I asked my parents if they wanted to take the cheaper and more adventurous route (tram to the hotel), or the "safe bet" route (taxi). Neither of them had a definite answer, so of course I voted for the tram. We bought our tickets and everything was fine and dandy.until we had to make a transfer. Thursday, April 28, 2011. The Grand Bazaar and the rest of Istanbul Day 1. After seeing the mosques, we were excited to head to the Grand Bazaar. On our way there, a "tour guide" man we ran into by Hagia Sofia wanted to also tell us about the city's architecture (what he studied in college), and take us to his carpet shop. Saturday, May 21, 2011. After we were down, we met Cory and a few girls who play in Slovenia for a coffee at Soho. We planned to go have dinner at a grill and then I went back to my apartment to gear up for my last day in Bar. Although I haven't been everywhere. Off the coast of Chile, halfway to Tahiti! It is one of the most secluded places in the world. Why is it famous? The moai (statues) are littered all over the island. Why does it appeal to me? It's an unusual place to visit, and in my mind tops Stonehenge with it's stone. I would also love to go to Chile, so why not take a little sidetrip? Want to know more? Located in Shaanxi, China (come on guys, testing your geographical smarts! Why is it famous? How could it not.
