Bell ringing at St John at Hackney. St John at Hackney is a major centre for ringing in East London. Tower outing Spring 2014 to North Kent. We rang handbells during the Carols by Candlelight services at St George in the East (who very kindly lend us their handbells each year). At 08:12 on 27th July 2012, we joined with thousands of people across the UK to ring in the first day of the Olympic Games as part of artist and musician Martin Creed’s Work No.1197 ‘All the Bells’.
