Do I need to be religious to come to the Healing Society? No-Just have an open mind. Is it an alternative to orthodox medicine? No it is complimentary. What does the healing technique involve? It may involve therapeutic touch if the patient is comfortable with that but not necessarily so. It should not be confused with a medical examination and involves no removal of clothes. Can anyone be a healer? YES The healing touch lies dormant within us all and by attending a course this will be brought forward.

We have been established as a registered charity since 1976. We were founded by two nursing sisters, Sister Mavis Burrows and Sister Ruby Bulcock who bequeathed their personal estate to the Society. We operate in a similar manner to other complimentary therapies such as aromatherapy and reflexology. We are normal people in a normal place with normal goings on. Everyone is a mature qualified registered healer who cares about the well-being of others and is a volunteer. Hadleigh Healing Society 2008.
