On New Year's Eve, Jen and Daniel made a delicious batch of sugar cookies. On New Year's Day we frosted and decorated them. They were delicious! While Nate went on his annual Ice Fishing Trip, Jen's parents came up and they all went to Chuckie Cheese's! It was Daniel's first trip, and he was overwhelmed after about 1/2 hr. We have our first broken bone. At least we don't have to worry about pain-which she wasn't in a lot to begin with-only when bending or straightening the arm. We keep this on for about 3 1/2 weeks, then we're all done :). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Some quick pictures from some of the family x-mas celebrations. Daniel's new Twins stocking hat. Andie opening her new Cinderella book. Daniel and Nate got matching warm facemasks for going ice fishing. The kids all excited to start opening presents. Andie only half-awake, but still super excited. Daniel found a great spot to stand right in front of the downtown Target store, and I just had to take this picture. It looks like it belongs in the weekly ad for boy's winter clothing :). And it was worth it!

The rest of 2012. Wow Where in the world has the time gone. We're finding that since we both have cameras on our phones, we're not taking a lot of pictures with the digital camera anymore. This year we had a Spiderman and Princess Dora. We were supposed to have a Minnie Mouse, but her dress sleeves were too scratchy. So, she wanted to dress up like Dora. Here's Andie trick or treating at school. Daniel had a big party on Halloween. Jen went to help out with it. She got to play a bunch of games with Daniel and his friends. Falling behind a bit. A few weeks ago we packed the car and headed to Milwaukee for two special occasions, Brooklyn's 2nd birthday, and Emmett's Baptism. We had a wonderful time, and the kids did great in the car. The Hoffe house was buzzing with people all weekend, but it sure was great to spend some time with everyone. One of Jen's favorite things are tulips. For this reason, we have about 20 tulip bulbs planted. We have either deer or bunnies eating them because every year we're disappointed at the number we actually see. This year we have been watching our sole surving tulip plant.and look at it! Last weekend, Daniel and Andie's school had a special visitor, SANTA! We all went in on Saturday morning to see him, have a little breakfast, and make some Christmas tree ornaments. Here is Daniel working on a penguin ornament. And the Man himself! This was the best picture of all of the ones taken between our camera and one of the school teachers. Now, to figure out where to put everything. Nate says he's going to be so organized now, that he's not going to be able to find anything.

Where did those last five years go? Like most years, we had numerous birthday parties. The first one was with the Fedies at the Water park of America near the MOA in Bloomington. Daniel wanted nothing more than to go to a water park. Following some pool time, we all headed back to our hotel room for some pizza, cupcakes, and presents.
