I broke down and let Qin have pancakes yesterday (I made them nice and soggy with syrup and butter - you know.good for the palate, not so much for the teeth), and he went nuts! He was just so tired of his limited diet! 2 boiled eggs (yeah, we fudged the diet a bit there, too; but we chopped 'em up small). Okay, so...

Today was the first day since Q's surgery that he woke up and was not in pain - and he didn't have any pain meds during the night! It's a relief to see him turning the corner. His cheeks are still swollen, and he talks like someone who had their wisdom teeth pulled. I might even conquer the Black Friday crowds to do some unnecessary shopping on Friday (is that desperate, or what? Posted by hagen4 @ 9:15 AM.

They ask you a ton of medical questions, and I mentioned that Qin has a small cold. They asked me to call Dr. Kislov to make sure he could proceed with surgery.
