Training Diabetes to live with me, one prick at a time. But why the hell didn’t I. Better. My hair and nails were splitting, cracks formed in the side of my mouth and my skin was super dry and flaky! I would get up 4 or 5 times a night to go to the toilet where I wouldn’t need to ever before. Something was seriously wrong…. I went to the Doctor for a fourth time! How wrong I was. A week. Later I left the hospital with blurry eyes as my vision had not quite returned to normal and my life changed for ever.
