Its snowing like nobodys business. Photos to come when I wake up. All alone in the woods. Ive been banished back to my little hut in the woods since the return of the pianist whose room I have been squatting in for the last 2.5 weeks. It feels like a post-apocalyptic scene as nothing has changed except it smells musty, and since the Turtleboys. Left tonight, ALL the surrounding huts are now devoid of people. This week has rolled in a fresh bunch of adventures. Wednesday night saw a Klezmer. It has been t...

the edible edinburgh: I'm back in Melbourne
http://theedibleedinburgh.blogspot.com/2010/11/im-back-in-melbourne.html
A Melburnian's wee journey to finding Edinburgh's culinary gems. Sunday, 21 November 2010. I'm back in Melbourne. I thought there was value in posting something from here since my driver for starting this blog was because I'd become accustomed to great food in Melbourne and wanted to review and reflect on the food in a city that was new to me: the lovely Edinburgh. If you don't know it - either because you're not from Melbourne/Australia or because you've never been (in which case, you're a fool! To emph...

deliciously dainty: October 2005
http://starem.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 27, 2005. What I will be doing this weekend. Drinking champagne and cosmos at the oh so chick Hotel Richmond. In Adelaide on Friday night. Doing yoga and weights at my fab new gym (yes I'm loving it, very scary). Working out my final touches to my outfit for Melbourne Cup on Tuesday. Currently I'll be wearing a stunning pale green and pink floral halterneck with pale green satin underlay. It is quite a 50s style. Very sexy. Catching up on rented DVDs, Cinema Paradiso. Going for a run.

September 8, 2014. Last week I took another trip. Up to Sydney for work. It was a continuation of the training I had received the month before. This is even my cut down version, there are probably only so many angles of buildings and the opera house that you can see. It was especially awesome. Up in the clouds! A rainbow from above. Was ar...
