That being said, there is a certain mentality and attitude at school amongst the children that I like to call "the day care mentality." These children are often. Rude, disrespectful, and sneaky. Saturday, November 20, 2010. What else do you do with a mountain of boxes? Make an awesome fort! So after being in Vegas for 3 weeks, I'm finally finding a free moment to post something! We love it here so far- it's still an adjustment, but so far so good. Everything is unpacked, and rather than waiting for the moving company to come and get my boxes, and thanks to the wonder that is craig's list, all of the boxes are now gone! Saturday, October 16, 2010. So, after weeks of being in total turmoil and not knowing which way is up, we finally have a tentative move date. ok. Uh move date week. I don't actually know which day. So the first week of November we will find ourselves residents of Las. We found a house to rent (awesome) and we listed our house to rent (scary! We have sold almost all of our baby stuff on craigslist. Which has been both liberating and a little sad. Her day is complete if she can make people laugh. :-).

Monday, November 5, 2012. And some other stuff). We are sincerely enjoying our time here in Monterey, and it is so weird to think that we are chiseling it away so much faster than I thought. Here it is November and I only have 6 1/2 months left. We will continue to make the most of what we have, and build more memories to cherish for years to come. On Friday the space shuttle Endeavor flew over Monterey and we were able to go see it with our fancy new Aquarium Memberships! Then we headed up to the observation deck to see the shuttle. Sunday, April 24, 2011. So I saw the commercials for crayola color bubbles, and luckily the Easter Bunny brought some for the kiddos. It turns out they really are as vibrant as the commercials- see for yourselves. It' s nice to live somewhere that has weather nice enough for the Easter Bunny to hide eggs outside. There were no thunderstorms, no snow, very little wind, it was perfect. Saturday, April 23, 2011. During spring break I took the kids to the Discovery Children's Museum. It was so much fun!

Sunday, October 21, 2012. October 1 - October 21. The past three weeks have been B-U-S-Y busy. We have been settling into our homeschool routine and also taking a little camping trip to Yosemite National Park. I think I finally have a schedule with regards to homeschool that I am happy with. Monday is music day where I teach all of the kids (except Bella) piano lessons. They are all doing really well and I am so happy that I have the know how to teach them! I love the Monterey Aquarium!
