Strength For Today and Bright Hope for Tomorrow. Monday, February 21, 2005. I had some wonderful bonding time with my nephews Andy and Sammy. Andy and I did several arts and crafts projects together, our most notable work being crowns for each member of the family. Each crown was adorned with colored noodles, string, glitter and custom-cut shapes accompanied by complimentary phrases such as Super Chuck or Hallelujah for Mymy. (which I think Andy sang in the correct melody for the Hallelujah Chorus).

As the time came closer, Charles got excited because it looked like there was going to be a Hurricane way out in the ocean that was going to send us good waves. Well, there was a hurricane, but it comes later in this story. The ocean was a churning mess, the beach so windy the sand hurt your face, and keeping your eyes open was nearly impossible. I just booked my flight to Vegas next week. Sherry Duckett and I are going out for a photography conference. No, I still sin, but I also am perfected. Have I just worked really hard for this status? The phrase (during prayer): "There are so few times I think in this life that you (God) are truly pleased by what we do, we are so sinful, but now at this moment I think you're pleased.".
