Stuff of Thought: July 2008

Miscellaneous musings on most things that occupy my mind. Wednesday, July 30, 2008. An American who doesn't know how to make coffee? I'm a sort of rarity here, I suppose. I received a brief tutorial in coffee-making this morning. Then I was asked to make some for a client meeting. I just delivered the finished product to the conference room, and my coworker was kind enough to supply a disclaimer that this was the American intern's first attempt at making coffee. Wednesday, July 23, 2008. Do you hear that?

RYAN OGDEN: March 2008
http://ryankingogden.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
I finally have something to put on my BLOG! Dolly and I went on a road trip to Arizona to visit Mindy and fam. Ya ya, I know, i can't find any one else to go on a road trip with other then a DOG! We had a lot of fun though! We went to the zoo and rented this bike type thing (WAY AWESOME.) We laughed so hard as we drove this thing around the zoo! I am sure the zoo really enjoyed us doing that. We gave the zoo guests something else to stare at! We were more popular then the animals! View my complete profile.

The Strangest NYC Commute. Ever. | Seek Up
https://smontague.wordpress.com/2008/07/03/the-strangest-nyc-commute-ever
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away. The Strangest NYC Commute. Ever. July 3, 2008 in Uncategorized. After I got on the 3 at 72nd street and started flying towards Times Square I looked across to the 1 that we were parallel to and saw no other than Randi! That was strange. I then sat down briefly because the subway wasn’t full and then had to leave because this person next to me was eating the nastiest bagel with cream cheese ever. Stanton & Rubi. Stuff of Thought: The last question.
http://stuffofthought.blogspot.com/2009/03/last-question.html
Miscellaneous musings on most things that occupy my mind. Tuesday, March 24, 2009. It's the question that few people think to prepare for in a job interview. Or maybe I'm the only one that forgets about it. Perhaps it's because you've already spent so much time preparing your answers to the typical job interview questions: "Why do you want to work here? What's your greatest weakness? What kind of experience do you have? Etcand you don't think about that ever-so-important last question. You frantically st...

Miscellaneous musings on most things that occupy my mind. Wednesday, February 18, 2009. No Pork Burrito for Kellie. The line was too long.I wonder how many new Twitter accounts were created last night for that pork burrito. Some people will do anything for free food.especially college students. Well, maybe a little. But it was nothing a plate of fully-loaded chicken nachos from a less-crowded Mexican restaurant couldn't fix. I was quite satisfied. Tuesday, February 17, 2009. Next I installed twhirl.

Stuff of Thought: August 2008
http://stuffofthought.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Miscellaneous musings on most things that occupy my mind. Tuesday, August 26, 2008. I'm training for a marathon. It's in 5 1/2 weeks. And the farthest I've run to date is eight miles. Hmmm, it's probably time to step it up, Kellie.". I'm starting to readjust. But it's clear I've got my work cut out for me. Thursday, August 14, 2008. I've been back in the US for four days now. And there are some things I've noticed:. My apartment has a distinct smell, too. (Rest assured, it's not a nasty smell.). American...

http://stuffofthought.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Miscellaneous musings on most things that occupy my mind. Tuesday, September 30, 2008. I'm going to Ghana in November. This means I have the distinct privilege of playing host to several vaccinations (6 in all), including yellow fever and typhoid. Fortunately, the disease is not contagious. Unless I was a mosquito and I bit someone. Then we might have a problem. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Follow me on Twitter. View my complete profile. Caution, Hot Water is Hot.

Stuff of Thought: October 2008
http://stuffofthought.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Miscellaneous musings on most things that occupy my mind. Monday, October 20, 2008. A very long, soggy 26.2. On October 4th I ran the St. George Marathon with my dad and my sister. Or perhaps I should say I ran the first two miles with them before they took off ahead of me. Around mile 16 a sharp pain shot through the sole of my left foot and slowed me to a very painful walk. I started cursing myself for not buying new shoes before the race. I knew that these shoes were getting near the end of th...When ...
