Mustang Dreams....: September 2014
http://mustangtripp.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 2, 2014. The soft eyed gelding.and friends. Remember the soft eyed gelding I passed up so I could get a mare named Tandee? I ended up with him too! It made me sad so I contacted the people who owned him (same people I bought Tandee from) and the said they would sell me Druch too, and I could just add his purchase price to my remaining payments I was making for Tandee. Oh, did I forget to mention that? I bought them on payments! Who knew you could do that? Sir showing off some moves!

http://mustangtripp.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 22, 2015. July 2014.animals.hay hauling. Yes, I am still trying to get caught up on blog entries. I asked myself why bother? Why not just start again beginning now? This weekend I was looking for a few pictures and as I was going through the blog, I laughed, I cried, I laughed some more. My friend Sharon sent home a bouquet of her flowers from her arbor. Thomas thought they were as pretty as I did! Laramie thinks they are purdy also. :-). Yes, they were cute enough! How can I deny them?

The Great Horsetrailriders Distance Derby: The Final Stretch
http://distancederby.blogspot.com/2012/12/the-final-stretch.html
Wednesday, December 26, 2012. Our second rider, Team 41 Juanita, has crossed the 2,000 mile marker and is now ahead by a nose. There are only 7 miles separating the first and second rider. I don’t think we will know the winner until the very end. Remember, all mileage must be submitted within 7 days of the ride, so the placings will not be final until January 7. I want to thank you for making this Distance Derby. Don’t forget the Awards Ceremony January 27th at Chance Ridge. Happy New Year to you all!

Tuesday, January 1, 2013. And the Winner is…. If you have been following the Distance Derby Leader Board, most of us were left in the dust early in January by Christine of Team 15 Purple and Juanita Team 41. Second place goes to Christine of Team 15. Third place goes to Brenda Messick of Team #14. Who logged 1,351.07 miles, mostly ...

The Great Horsetrailriders Distance Derby: Distance Derby 2012
http://distancederby.blogspot.com/2013/01/distance-derby-2012.html
Sunday, January 6, 2013. The Leader Board has been posted and the 2012 Distance Derby is now complete. It has a fun year "riding" with all of you and I hope that you have met and/or exceeded your goals. At the very least, have a nicely conditioned horse in your barn. The Derby pushed me faster and farther than I normally ride and it shows for me and my horse. I have all of you to thank. It wouldn't have been near as fun without you. Congrats to all the finishers. Happy Trails. DON'T LOSE YOUR MILES!

The Great Horsetrailriders Distance Derby: Going Stealth
http://distancederby.blogspot.com/2012/12/going-stealth.html
Monday, December 31, 2012. Just poking fun here… beginning a few days ago). THURSDAY, DECEMBER 27. It’s killin’ me to go dashing through the snow and not Facebook about it. Actually, its killing me to go dashing through the snow. In this cold COLD weather. And its all because of Grabb’n Leather (Team 45). He just chaps my hide and almost literally! Did I mention how cold it is? I’ve been sitting in 7th place in the Derby for the last month or so – maybe longer… really,. Who’s counting…. My roads are icy!

The Great Horsetrailriders Distance Derby: Team 5: Cindy
http://distancederby.blogspot.com/2011/12/team-team-cindy.html
Sunday, December 11, 2011. A country girl born and raised in the city, I always dreamed of living in the country and owning my own horses. That dream was realized 7 years ago when my dad bought me my first horse. His health was failing and he wanted to see my dream realized before he left this earth. I was no longer a little girl, but a married woman with four kids! I am now living my dream in the country with my own small herd of 3 horses. I was ready for the 4 hour trail ride! What a beautiful day!
