Sunday, April 26, 2015. Several times during the day he came up to me and stated how amazed he was with the difference in academic levels between all the children in my class. He hadn't realized what a gap there was between children and how hard it is for the teacher to bridge that gap. Friday, May 30, 2014. Dear Children, (2013-14). This year has been full of many.adventures. This morning, as I sat in our classroom, looking at the empty bulletin boards, empty desks, waiting for you to walk in for the last time, I realized how much FUN we have had this year. I have watched you learn and grow. I have seen some amazing personalities develop as you found yourselves. I have watched you laugh and play and dance and love and paint and sing. That it's ok for me to be funny and to make you laugh.

Thursday, May 28, 2015. This year is different. This time I am the one that is not coming back. As I have finished the year, it has given me a much different perspective. This is the group of kids I have been waiting for. I knew from my first year, when these kids were in kindergarten, that there was something different, that I NEEDED these kids. I always say I have learned more from you than you learned from me, but this year I feel like we learned together. How important it is to see inside your heart.
