Still Healing Haiti…. Monthly Archives: March 2014. March 1, 2014. This picture is one of my favorites of all times…for many reasons. It was my very first experience in our Cholera hospital under horrible conditions (don’t tell my mom! This baby was very delayed in developmental milestones. We taught our little one how to EAT. She learned to HUG. She figured out how to SMILE. She has WALKED into our community clinic each year I have returned to Cite’ Soleil and filled my heart with smiles and hugs.

Breakfast (if you have any. Asking the questions, “Are you worried? What will you do? 8221; brought me the same response in all of my friends…. 8220;God has a plan for me and will provide me the best direction”. I am not rich. I am not a genius. This is a special piece that Kim Wepking Richards did of a photo of me and a VERY special little one in my first Cholera Mission several years ago. Still Healing Haiti…. Late Entry for 7-1 (My day of departure). June 21, 2015. Nice one, Henderson. As I am in the midst of my Haiti packing and repacking (my way of eliminating things considering the summer embargo)…I was frustrated at the volume “culturally acceptable” clothing I had to buy this year. You see….within the guesthouse grounds, we are able to wear what we wish (might be pretty much nuthin’ at 100 degrees and stifling humidity). Ok, not really. Late Entry for 7-1 (My day of departure).
