Thursday, 6 August 2015. Guess who learned to repair a flat tyre on the roadside tonight? If you guessed me, you guessed wrong. Instead I carried my bike the last 3k's home and sat in my garage with tyre levers and a youtube tutorial until shit was fixed again. Saturday, 4 July 2015. Hit Mt-Cootha again today determined to conquer the climb in one sitting. 80% of the way up I heard some cars coming behind and moved left to give them some space. My front wheel slipped off the road and I fell over in the way that only tall retarded people can. Some dude who drove past me was waiting at the top to see if I was OK, then gave me a slap on the back and told me to keep going. Thanks guy. Up until that point I was in reasonable. So plenty more accidents to come.

Wednesday, 22 July 2015. My responsibilities for The Show are drawing to a close. Apart from getting righteously turnt up at the afterparty in a week, of course. The photos got taken, the posters/banners/flyers got made, the videos got recorded/cut/uploaded, the launch party was documented, a lot of foam bricks got cut up and painted, the AV materials got made, the beginnings of the final cue file have been assembled, and the program got designed and sent to the printers with a few pre-dawn hours to spare.

Nearly ran over a blue-tongue lizard on the Centenary Motorway bike path, but it stopped short of running under my wheel and stared at me with its tongue out.
