Leaving Volcanoes National Park, we follow Highway 11 towards the village of Captain Cook and our next bed and breakfast. Along the way, we take a slight detour to visit Punalu’u Black Sand Beach. We are rewarded with seeing two beautiful Hawaiian Green Sea turtles sunning themselves on the black lava rocks. We find our way to the village of Captain Cook and the Areca Palms Estate Bed and Breakfast.

Before the conference, we took five days of holiday to explore the island. We started in the beach city of Kona. We had a bad case of jet-lag, which we treated with lots of good Hawaiian-grown coffee. Kona coffee on the sea front at ' Lava Java'. We stayed at the Royal Kona Resort. Friday, September 17, 2010. Looking Into You (As Always). You know how when you are driving in your car early in the morning they play Birthday Requests? Well, I'm not in my car, in fact it's just a little over an hour into my birthday. I don't know what I'm going to do yet. The birthday check my father sent me I used yesterday to get my hair done. Its the best hair look I've had since Summer Blonde. And for my birthday, this would be my request for my favorite song, so here again is my favorite post.
