For the last 17 months I have said that somebody needed to get a soft serve ice-cream machine here in Lundazi for a business. Finally, somebody heeded my advice and got one. Of course, I feel obligated to support them frequently to show how good my advice was! With my success in bringing ice-cream to Lundazi, I think I will start trying to pitch the idea of Chick-fila! Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Nick and I celebrated seven years of marriage, May 17th, 2009. You might notice that Nick's nose is a little red here. Poor thing came down with some kind of cold/hacking cough/thought he was dying illness the day before, but he wouldn't let me postpone our date. I drugged him up real well right before the game, and until the drugs wore off in the eighth inning, he was great! That sounds like a pretty great date night to me. Nine times out of 10, simplicity is the way to go!

Wednesday, October 27, 2010. I still can't believe that my beloved Texas Rangers are playing Game 1 of the World Series tonight! You really don't have to know me very well at all to know that I love baseball, and I especially LOVE the Texas Rangers. I always have. Even those seasons when it was more fun to be a Cowboys or Mavericks fan, the Rangers were still #1 in my book. ALDS Game 3 - Nick, Joey (close friend/retail store mgr), Mike (owner of HRS! ALDS Game 4 (quite a bit higher than the day before).
