The Wakefields in Mexico: Vero's Baby
http://thewakefieldsinmexico.blogspot.com/2015/05/veros-baby.html
The Wakefields in Mexico. Wednesday, May 20, 2015. On May 3, 2015 the newest little member of our church was born. She doesn't have a name yet - not an unusual thing with babies here in Mexico. Nine months isn't quite enough time ;). She weighed 5 lbs 6 oz - she's a tiny little thing! Nicole's hand - size comparison. Nicole and baby girl. Me and the little munchkin. After visiting for a little while, they started bringing out food. See the roof in this picture? It is sheets of metal. Thankfully the famil...

The Wakefields in Mexico: Youth Game Night
http://thewakefieldsinmexico.blogspot.com/2015/08/youth-game-night.html
The Wakefields in Mexico. Thursday, August 13, 2015. After church this past Sunday a bunch of us went over to the Garcia’s house for a youth game night. One of the ladies in Elder Wakefield’s church volunteered to make molotes for us. I thought that was so sweet! While we played games, visited, and enjoyed each other’s company, Sis. Erika slaved away in the kitchen. We had such a good time! We played Pictionary, charades, and The Rhythm Game. Our cute little time-keeper. What is going on here? I'll Pass ...

The Wakefields in Mexico: Where I've Been This Past Week
http://thewakefieldsinmexico.blogspot.com/2015/08/where-ive-been-this-past-week.html
The Wakefields in Mexico. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Where I've Been This Past Week. Last week was the final one I had free so I packed my bags and went to spend an entire week with my wonderful grandparents. Jose Luis and Carla. Grampa and Hayde studying. The day I made questions we had a time arguing over answers. Elder Wakefield should've been a lawyer. After devotions, we dropped by my tio and tia's house to visit. I got to see this little princess with the mop of curly hair. Baby feet are the cutest.

The Wakefields in Mexico: Mi Viejo Pueblito
http://thewakefieldsinmexico.blogspot.com/2015/05/mi-viejo-pueblito.html
The Wakefields in Mexico. Monday, May 18, 2015. On Saturday Grampa and Gramma took Nicole and I out for lunch. We went to a very popular restaurant called "Mi Viejo Pueblito". They serve authentic Mexican food in a classy, traditional atmosphere. I still hadn't entirely kicked my craving for red enchiladas so I didn't need to even look at the menu. Mi Viejo did not disappoint me! My enchiladas in red sauce. Nicole's enchiladas - one in mole poblano, pipian verde, and pipian rojo. Thank You, Jesus! Pizzas...

The Wakefields in Mexico: July 2014
http://thewakefieldsinmexico.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
The Wakefields in Mexico. Thursday, July 31, 2014. It's Not Me, It's Her. Sometimes we see people at camps and conferences and they will come up to us and say that they really enjoy this blog. They say how funny it is and that we make them laugh. When they tell Nicole this, she usually just laughs and says, "Actually Bethany is the funny one.". The other day she was hanging out with some new friends when one of the young ladies turned to her and said, "Hey, you're really funny! Monday, July 28, 2014.

The Wakefields in Mexico: June 2015
http://thewakefieldsinmexico.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
The Wakefields in Mexico. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Honduras - Day 6. Our sixth day in Honduras was very relaxing and fun. At some point there was a hawk flying circles above the chicken pen. Nathaniel went out with his bb gun to scare it off. I got in the hammock with the girls. There were three of us so it was a little smooshed. I had baby feet in my face :). Bro Schreckhise sat down and played the piano and everyone sang. It was beautiful! We walked down a pathway of boulders and rocks. We ended a day o...

The Wakefields in Mexico: November 2014
http://thewakefieldsinmexico.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
The Wakefields in Mexico. Friday, November 28, 2014. Together Again on Thanksgiving. Yesterday was Thanksgiving which also happened to be the day our parents and Austin were going to be flying in. This is not the actual Thanksgiving post, but a preview. This is Austin's favorite outfit. His overalls. He'd wear them everyday if he could - he loves looking like a farmer. When he first got them, he couldn't wait to wear them to Starbucks (a pretty classy place here in Mexico). Wednesday, November 26, 2014.
