Just to let you all know that my scan results were back and "no suspicious areas of abnormal scintographic activity" - which means they don't see any thyroid cancer cells. Hooray! Two seconds later, I open the door and SURPRISE - I look to see my back hallway (and beyond) is full of people - family, friends and in my shock I immediately slam the door shut! Friday, March 21, 2008. This week, our cousins, Amy and Kara from Massachusetts were in town. All the girls (Aimee, Haley, Ella, Erin, Emma, Amy, Kara, Barby and myself) went to a great Italian restaurant for dinner. It was so much fun being together! The girls at "Horton Hears a Who". The picture is blurry - but I thought it was cute anyway! We celebrated David's birthday on the 14th! Pizza and Dave's favorite "cookie cake". Tuesday, March 11, 2008. Spring is coming soon. Monday, March 30, 2009. Fallen Heroes Race - March 28th. The weather was horrible with rain that never let up and the course was one steep hill after the other - but they did it! Today - 7 days after the snowstorm we are enjoying a sunny weekend in the 70's - but LAST SUNDAY. It was SO cold and boring and I was boiling water on the grill so I could have HOT tea!

Sunday, April 19, 2009. Easter is one of my most favorite holidays! I LOVE what it represents - as in new life! This year we spent Easter at our house. The week before Easter David and Yvette went on a cruise to celebrate their Anniversary. Dan and I had the 3 girls as it was also their "spring break" time. We had a great time and a few of those days we had all 5 girls! Here are some pictures. Dan with Kaitlyn and Abby with me. Emma is with me and Layla is with Dan. Ella with me, Layla with Dan.

Saturday, June 14, 2008. Fun in the Sun. Memorial Day @ Stone Mountain. On May 20th our youngest granddaughter had her first birthday and we all celebrated at Aimee and Bryan's. Beautiful day and we spent most of it in their backyard. Sunday, June 1, 2008. At first, Haley (who is very sensitive to noise) did not like the roosters and other birds that were squawking. Wednesday, August 20, 2008. Last summer at the YMCA. Here are a few pictures from the last days of summer at the YMCA. I had told them it was going to be my last summer and they were all so sweet to throw a surprise party for me! Stephanie, Tory and Shelby. Carmetta, Claire and Lauren. Rebecca (the front desk). We really know how to put on a party. Of course we had to tailgate in the parking lot before the concert! And it was very, very hot in that sun! Concert - in line. There were the younger "girls".
