Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Jamie's Soft Sugar Cookies. 2 t baking soda. 1 c butter (can use baking quality margarine). 1 c sour cream (can use light). Cream sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla and sour cream (will be quite runny). In a separate bowl mix flour, soda and salt. Add to the creamed mixture. Dough should be somewhat firm, but not too much since you will add flour as you roll them out. Powdered sugar (about 1 lb or so). Milk or whipping cream. Friday, December 16, 2011. These cookies flatten and crack as they cool. The secret in keeping them soft is to remove them from the oven as soon as they are set but before they start to brown. 1 1/2 cup butter, softened. 4 1/2 cups flour. 4 tsp baking soda. L/2 tsp. cloves. L/2 tsp. salt. Cream together the sugar and shortening. Add eggs and beat until thick. Add the molasses and stir until combined. Wrap it in plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes (or freezer for about 10-15min;).

Thursday, August 29, 2013. 1 lb boneless pork spare ribs. 1 reg size jar medium salsa. 1/2 C brown sugar. Mild green enchilada sauce. Combine pork, salsa and brown sugar in crock pot. Cook on high for 6 hours, until meet easily shreds. Cook tortillas. Fill with meat and cheese, roll. Top rolled tortillas with sauce and more cheese. Wednesday, January 8, 2014. 4 c white flour. 2 c warm water. 3-4 T melted butter. Stir all ingredients except butter in a bowl. Sometimes I like to add fresh garlic:) Then let it rise for 30 min to one hour. Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray and then spread the dough out onto the pan. Then pour the melted butter over the top. And season to your liking. I usually use garlic salt or salad supreme. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 min. Recipe by Laura Johnson. Photo by Robyn Johnson. Life Caught in the Webb. Saturday, August 25, 2012. I did it all by myself. Since the first time we walked through the house, Im been scheming to put some ceiling fans in. Dare I say, obsessed about it. Every dollar we save I add to my ceiling fan fund. Weve only lived here a week, but last night was the final straw for sleeping without one. I picked a fan up at home depot this morning and installed it during nap time. Ya, I pretty much rock. Ill sing my own accolades, dont worry :). Make It and Love It.

So I did make it to the top of a mountain in Colorado with an elevation greater than 14,000 feet above see level (a 14er, for anyone who doesnt speak native coloradoian). We drove to Mount Evans today, the highest paved road in north America. This picture was in the parking lot; we proceeded to climb a few hundred additional feet to the summit- around 14300, I think. So ya, I climbed a 14er while I was here. June 20, 2012 at 3:44 PM.

Life Caught in the Webb. Monday, August 13, 2012. I think one of the reasons we bought a house was so that I could choose carpet and get it installed. What a riot! Here is one word of advice: Home Depot was a joke. We shopped around and found the same carpet for $2200 less. I am so so pleased with how it turned out. Ill post some before pictures. Our carpet is a frizé (shag) called Persian Gold. I love it! I cant wait to see how it looks with my pomagranate red leather sofa! Enjoying the Small Things.
