Monday, January 9, 2017. Menu Monday and Weekend Scenes. Snow was the theme this weekend, it started Friday morning and we received a nice dusting before it tapered off around 11am. I made my heart healthy turkey chili and cornbread Friday night. Saturday morning we got as much done as possible in anticipation of more snow! Wednesday, February 11, 2015. Heart Healthy Turkey Chili. I love a good bowl of chili anytime of the year, but especially on a cold winter night. This version will fill you up without filling you out! It makes 6-8 servings. 1-15 lbs of ground white meat turkey. 1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes. 1 8 oz can tomato sauce. 1 15 oz can of kidney beans, drained and rinsed. Rainbow pepper pack, diced. 8 oz frozen corn (not pictured). 2 Tbsp chili powder. 1 Tbsp ground cumin. 1 tsp ground coriander. Prep In Your Step.

We arrived home from Nantucket last night and are getting ready to get back to reality tomorrow after the "holidaze"! I'm also looking around and dreading taking all of the holiday decor down so for now I will procrastinate and blog. After visiting the NHA Festival of Trees at the Whaling Museum on Thursday, we went out to dinner at a mid-island family favorite, Fusaro's, where dessert was clearly in order!
