Category Archives: Resort History. September 17, 2015. Michaela captured some great photos of the northern lights over the beach this past week. We don’t see them like this too often, but when we do it’s a real treat! We have been busy with the fall routine this … Continue reading →. Comments Off on Northern Lights. April 16, 2015. The Farm →. March 13, 2015. We are quickly moving from winter to spring. Just a few days ago Mary and I were skiing consistently, but as you can see from these photos, our snow is about gone. We are looking forward to an early spring, and Ryan and Liz will appreciate a few extra weeks of nice weather for spring cleaning! This entry was posted in Nature. The Farm →. Ice Cream →. April 25, 2015. We received these in the mail yesterday and are excited to offer them to our guests this summer. They are hand thrown pottery mugs from a place in St. Paul, MN. They did an excellent job with the design and they turned out even better than we had hoped. These will be a perfect fit for a steaming hot cup of joe out by the lake! Ryan’s Morning Ski. Mabel in the Window. February 18, 2015. The cracked corn was piled high in the squirrel feeder this morning and Mabel paused during her play to watch the squirrels fill their cheeks with the feed. We have a slew of squirrels that skitter around the yard and up and down the trees that we enjoy watching. It is especially entertaining when they try to eat out of the squirrel-proof feeder which has perches that collapse under their weight. This entry was posted in Family Life.
