Monday, March 29, 2010. MACRO: It's a brand new start. Finally went out to shoot some macro with my new toy! A 50mm AF-D F1.8 with 2 close-up filter stacked. It's a new experience, a lot of patience needed and stability in composing and focusing is a challenge. Here are some of the better catch. Conclusion: Macro is very challenging. Thursday, August 27, 2009. Mt Kinabalu Day 3. Once again, we whipped out our cameras and started “recording” every moment of our presence on the peak. Sunrise starts early in Sabah, by 6 am we could see the sky evolving in colors. It is dramatic scene and at the same time calming. Tuesday, February 10, 2009. Today I gave about 500cc of AB blood in about 15 mins time but the waiting and health screening took about 45 mins. The one hour plus was well spent, learning that you can save upto 3 people with just one pack of blood equivalent to a regular size mineral water. I think others may have their own phobia such as needles, pain, blood etc. But give yourself a chance to try and also give three other people who need your blood a chance to live. That's all for now!

Wednesday, May 13, 2009. My graduation trip to Phuket, Thailand was really memorable. It was planned long ago before even my final exams started. However one of the member can't join us. He really missed alot of fun. We flew there on Tiger Airways and it was an early flight there. The fare was only S$10 and the same for return.
