Musings from the last of the Baby Boomers: June 2005
http://pcdoc63.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html
Musings from the last of the Baby Boomers. Wednesday, June 29, 2005. What the heck is a "meme"? Ok, so I know what I think. It is - and now I know what it is thanks to "Wikipedia". By the way, ignore the links. They don't work. I couldn't get them to die happily, so here they reside. Forgive me, gentle reader. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. The term and concept of meme. First appeared in the 1976. Book by Richard Dawkins. The study of memes. Having a resemblance to the gene. The unit of genetics.

Musings from the last of the Baby Boomers: What can I say?
http://pcdoc63.blogspot.com/2009/01/what-can-i-say.html
Musings from the last of the Baby Boomers. Monday, January 12, 2009. What can I say? I have had to take a LONG pause from blogging. It seems that with the pressures of a new job, moving to a new house, moving my 84ish year old mother from SC to here, and just the day to day challenge of being me took it's toll - so here I sit. My loving wife MadMom - who's blog exists here. As I pass through. Trust me. I'm not dead after all - just dead tired :). Well well.look who's out and about again! What can I say?

Musings from the last of the Baby Boomers: Boy am I out of touch.
http://pcdoc63.blogspot.com/2006/10/boy-am-i-out-of-touch.html
Musings from the last of the Baby Boomers. Monday, October 09, 2006. Boy am I out of touch. Long time no type. Where to begin? Well in the spirit of the "Truth in Blogging Act" I guess I should add that my situations of late have been many things, but BAD. Really isn't one of them. I have a loving wife, two kids that, in the great scheme of things, aren't too bad, and my health is returning. Life is just not that bad. It's terrific to see you've posted! Ps yes, it's past time to quit smoking. :). I think...

Musings from the last of the Baby Boomers: October 2006
http://pcdoc63.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Musings from the last of the Baby Boomers. Monday, October 09, 2006. A word from George Carlin. I saw this at a friend's blog. Today I figured I'd heist it because it has value today. We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. Remember, t...

Musings from the last of the Baby Boomers: January 2009
http://pcdoc63.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Musings from the last of the Baby Boomers. Sunday, January 18, 2009. Ahh Winter. The cold, the touch of snow - ok wait a sec. I'm getting Cabin Fever! The missus and I and family noticed that we were in for some unseasonably warm weather at the coast this weekend. So, we got into the "family truckster", grabbed our travel trailer, braved the coast range pass and headed to Cannon Beach, OR. We were staying in. Monday, January 12, 2009. Survivorman vs. Man vs Wild. What can I say? Has taken over the torch ...

Musings from the last of the Baby Boomers: November 2006
http://pcdoc63.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Musings from the last of the Baby Boomers. Friday, November 10, 2006. Not forgotten, just busy as hell. Well I am in Beaufort, SC again. It was time for my annual pilgrimage to my mother's house to perform whatever minutiae my mom has for me, and to do some hard talking with her. Like, what are we going to do when you can't stay here anymore? It's not fun, by the way. Personally, I am scared to death. I hate doctors. I know they are good guys, but sheesh. I still hate em. End of discussion. Oh and by the...

Musings from the last of the Baby Boomers: Survivorman vs. Man vs Wild
http://pcdoc63.blogspot.com/2009/01/survivorman-vs-man-vs-wild.html
Musings from the last of the Baby Boomers. Monday, January 12, 2009. Survivorman vs. Man vs Wild. Then there is Bear Grylls. Nice enough guy, entertaining, but travels with a camera crew and sometimes gets "presented" with treacherous circumstances so he can "demonstrate" a survival technique. Although I appreciate Mr. Grylls technical abilities, Mr. Stroud is REAL. No survival techniques that he isn't NEEDING at that moment. And all alone. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). X) been in love. X) been in a fist fight. X) snuck out of your parent's house. X) gone on a blind date. X) been to Canada.

Musings from the last of the Baby Boomers: Hey - two days in a row!
http://pcdoc63.blogspot.com/2006/10/hey-two-days-in-row.html
Musings from the last of the Baby Boomers. Monday, October 09, 2006. Hey - two days in a row! Told you I'd write some more. Heather and I put up 5 more quarts of applesauce and 8 more apple jelly jars. I LOVE homemade applesauce and jelly. Turned out good I think! Maybe we'll go up to Spokane or near Mt. St. Helens. Whatever we do, it'll be fun. If I could ever successfully grow tomatoes here, I'd put them up too. Wonder what I'll put up now? Until our next -. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
