Every Bitter Thing is Sweet. Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Now on to the exciting news! We got "the call" on September 11 at 7:15 pm. The call that made us the happiest (& extremely nervous) people on earth! Now that we have been matched and whole new "wave" of anxiety has hit us. All of the "what ifs" have kept me up at night. Every Bitter Thing is Sweet. Wednesday, April 15, 2015. To the Emotionally Undone Mom. I often feel spiritually guilty that I do not have the time I once did to spend on my quiet time with God. But have realized that he doesn't need my undivided attention but merely the attentiveness to his presence in the midst of my chaotic day. No matter how hard or frustrating my day is, at the end when I am rocking my precious boy I am overwhelmed with how blessed we are. How lucky am I to be a Mom?

Every Bitter Thing is Sweet. Tuesday, February 10, 2015. Oliver's Birth Story 1/6/2015. I feel terrible that I am just sitting down to write this but as you can imagine I have been a little busy! L had several false alarms but never ended up going back to the hospital. We were on pins and needles are very stressed waiting! After L had alone time with Oliver she invited us to come in. We were so nervous and excited, I thought I was going to throw up! When I finally laid eyes on him, I sobbed!

We are so thankful for all the love we received today. Thank you so much for a wonderful shower Heather! Baby Hall has such an awesome Aunt! Here are a few pictures from the shower and as promised, a few pictures of the nursery so far. It is still a work in process! And of course the dogs had to get in at least one picture!
