Thoughts on life, family and places I've been. Wednesday, November 12, 2008. This Halloween we had an elephant show up at the house. He was quite FIERCE AND SKOOKY! Actually he was quite sweet and very pleased with himself! He made a great elephant and did very well at Trick or Treating. Big Sis came with as the beautiful German Girl with braids and all! Together they made quite the candy haul. His new love is the blue antique car that we got him a while back. He's not there yet but it won't be long.

On Saturday we were at the antique mall in Allen and I saw several old drawers that gave me an idea. I found two shelves that look like this one. And a third one that was different. Thoughts on life, family and places I've been. Wednesday, February 9, 2011. It's February 9th in Mckinney Texas. We've had unusual winter weather this year and today it sleeted and snowed again. Tonight the temperature is going down to 9 degrees! I love to feed the local birds in my back yard, today we had some incredible visitors show up. This blue jay comes often but the woodpecker at the feeder was a first time visitor. He was absolutely beautiful! He has a long powerful beak. He stayed for a long time.

Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. I like to Move It Move It. Well this past weekend was filled with lots of MOVING! With the help of my older Sister, her husband and kids (yes the kids helped! And my boyfriend we were able to get all my big furniture moved over to the house Friday night. We were even able to get all the furniture that Mike (my brother-in-law) was storing in his garage, I know this made him happy! I spent my first night in the new house Friday night! It finally felt real!
