Our tiny camp did an amazing job, but the need for mechanics is endless (such is the need for bicycle repair on the Playa). So, we are looking to host even more mechanics in 2016. Leave your Playa bike behind. Every year the Playa is littered with junk bicycles after Burning Man. While not as bad as an oil spill, bikes are MOOP that can't be simply tossed onto a burn pile. They have to be picked up with DPW vehicles, stored while determining if any of the bikes are stolen, hauled off of the Playa, and so on.
