I've joked before that we are in the only line that actually gets longer as we wait in it. There are days when I am very down and wonder if we should do something else. Friday, October 10, 2008. 160;We did not receive a phone call from our agency indicating that there were questions about our info, and that is a good thing. Technically, it doesn't really mean we are any closer to meeting our little girl, but it is one more step. I think a two year age difference for sisters is perfect! The grim part of this whole process has been the ever growing wait. The news does not seem to be getting any better. I really enjoyed the premiere of Treme last night, although it confirmed one of my mild apprehensions about the show: People won’t believe how authentic it is. It’s a weird contradiction that at the same time we don’t want people believing that there’s a parade every five minutes here, like a lot of pop culture would suggest, but at the same time, they’re pretty damn regular, and Treme captures that.
