Friday, November 11, 2011. We had a chance to head up to my good friends, Erin's for the weekend, so of course we took it! It had been a while since we've all been together and besides Erin and I missing each other like crazy, our kids were driving US. Crazy with constantly asking when they were going to see each other again. Luckily Erin isn't too far away and only after a 2 hour drive and we made it in plenty of time to enjoy a fun Friday night of Shootin'! Perry showing us silly girls how it's done!

Saturday, September 25, 2010. Jon's Welcome Home Party! Today we celebrated my husbands safe return home.by throwing a big ol' Hammie-Time Party! I had brought up the idea to Jon while he was still over in the 'Sandbox' and he loved the idea! So I went ahead and picked out a day that I was pretty sure he'd be home by, and then sent out invites through FaceBook. To my surprise, my goofy husband decided to give me a heart attack and check 'MAYBE' as his RSVP! He's such a stinker! Can you believe that?

Sunday, August 21, 2011. Birth place of Pepsi. I think at some point during this summer, it hit us that we were not going to be here for the next. Yes, they all belong to me. Jeremy, Sarah, McKinley, Shane, Noah, and Isabella. Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Shane's First T-ball Practice. Shane was so excited to get to start T-ball this week! He was very nervous on Monday to meet all of his team mates but, by the second practice on Wednesday he was a regular pro. He loves it, and we are glad to find a sport that he really likes (soccer was just too busy for him! I can't wait to post pics of his first game because, really, what is cuter than T-ball!

While we were visiting Jeremy's family over Spring Break we decided to get out of Spruce Pine for the day and see what we could find. First we went to Linville. Caverns. It was a very hot day so we welcomed the temperature change in the caverns. We seen bats, fossils, all kinds of interesting shapes in the cave wall. This is what the kids called a chicken nugget bat!
