Regan's Rubric: September 12, 2004
http://regansrubric.blogspot.com/2004_09_12_archive.html
A collection of short stories, thoughts, and general experiences. Saturday, September 18, 2004. Diplomatic Tango. Anyone? My previous post could lead someone to believe that I support Bush for President. I would like to point out the policies of Bush I find reproachable. There are many counter arguments to the points I am about to raise, but I do not have time to rebut or address them all, so I will not try. They have trouble doing so because we are taking the fight to them. We are offering them the ...

Regan's Rubric: Too Many Victims & Not Enough Adults
http://regansrubric.blogspot.com/2004/10/too-many-victims-not-enough-adults.html
A collection of short stories, thoughts, and general experiences. Monday, October 11, 2004. Too Many Victims and Not Enough Adults. I would like to meet Andy Rooney. There are very few people these days who have traditional American values. I feel Mr. Rooney is one of them. I think America would be a better place if more people took responsibility for their actions and stopped letting everyone claim victim status. Andy Rooney said on 60 minutes a few weeks back:. ARE YOU LISTENING MARTHA BURKE? When 70% ...

I have visited my family, and life is trying to reestablish itself into a semblance of normalcy. All I have here is bureaucracy, red tape, and regulations. I have been working in the office for nearly there hours when a person waltz’ in and sits down at a computer a few monitors down from me. This is strange because the off...

Regan's Rubric: Keep'n it real with Gilgamesh in "The Raq"
http://regansrubric.blogspot.com/2004/10/keepn-it-real-with-gilgamesh-in-raq.html
A collection of short stories, thoughts, and general experiences. Sunday, October 10, 2004. Keep'n it real with Gilgamesh in "The Raq". Was emailed to me and I found the information to be interesting. I read the story a few years ago. Gilgamesh is a good story, and fairly interesting to me since I know where Nineveh is and have been there. This land has so much history. Posted by Regan at 9:35 AM. View my complete profile. Regan's Rubric: Shooting Jackal's
http://regansrubric.blogspot.com/2004/10/shooting-jackals.html
A collection of short stories, thoughts, and general experiences. Wednesday, October 13, 2004. I woke up to the sound of Howitzers firing counter battery fire. The distinctive thumps rattled the window in my room. I have also put ductape and card board on the window to block the sun. The tape and cardboard also make me feel more comfortable while I sleep. I know that it will not stop any of the frag but it is comforting thinking that there is at least a little more stuff between death and me. Having grab...

Regan's Rubric: Parting Was Such Sweet Sorrow
http://regansrubric.blogspot.com/2004/11/parting-was-such-sweet-sorrow.html
A collection of short stories, thoughts, and general experiences. Saturday, November 06, 2004. Parting Was Such Sweet Sorrow. I have been home about 10 days. The shock of being back in civilized culture is disconcerting at times. I was really anti-social the first 48-72 hours. Its good to be back in the United States again, although I do miss Iraq(I sort of expected this). All my stuff is still in storage so I have been living on a friends couch till my townhouse is vacated on the 13th of this month.

A collection of short stories, thoughts, and general experiences. Friday, September 24, 2004. Caught in The Crossfire of Snow Cone Makers. I read this article while perusing the news today, Arms Sale. While it paints a frightening picture, I had to laugh at a thought that crossed my mind. In the movie "True Lies", now governor, Schwarzenegger is asked to identify a nuclear warhead. With panache he stated, Is it a snow cone maker? Posted by Regan at 10:57 AM. Iraqi Bloggers Roundup: Happy New Year and Farewell
http://iraqibloggersroundup.blogspot.com/2004/12/happy-new-year-and-farewell.html
Wednesday, December 29, 2004. Happy New Year and Farewell. Is closing. This blog was created by Torchbearer; he later invited me (littlewhy) and Louise to contribute posts as he couldn't update here very often. About two months ago Torch went silent. He hasn't reappeared and for this reason Louise and I have agreed to let the blog lapse. I've certainly enjoyed it here. As my most popular posts were the Obscure Iraqi Blog posts, I'll continue to write those and post them over at my blog Winter Soldier.
