http://www.katieskitchenjournal.com/2015/01/review-green-kitchen-stories.html
Review: Green Kitchen Stories. If you follow me on Twitter. You will see that I've been just a little bit excited to get my hands on two new books recently. They are by the beautiful family over at Green Kitchen Stories. A vegetarian blog jam packed with really creative recipes, that has been one of my favourites for a while now! The writers, Luise Vindahl and David Frenkiel and their super cute children have been inspired by their travels and a passion for healthy and simple delicious vegetarian food.

The Good Life - Custard Creams and London Dreams
http://custardcreamsandlondondreams.com/good-life
Healthy eating is one of my many resolutions for 2015 and so far I can safely say that it’s not going too badly. Yes I have the odd (read: daily) Nutella spread on toast or better yet strawberries dipped in Nutella, which only makes me feel half bad, but other than that it’s all porridge, avocado and quinoa. The Good Life Eatery. Has been on my iPhone notes ‘places to try’ for over a year now and I finally headed to Chelsea to give it a shot and see what the fuss was about. Shu-mazing factor – 8/10.

katie's kitchen journal: Dairy and wheat free rhubarb and coconut crumble
http://www.katieskitchenjournal.com/2015/02/dairy-and-wheat-free-rhubarb-and.html
Dairy and wheat free rhubarb and coconut crumble. Especially when it's rhubarb and coconut crumble. This is wheat-free, dairy-free and refined-sugar free but totally delicious. Sweetened with dark treacly coconut sugar and pure maple syrup, paired with citrusy lime and sharp rhubarb, it's heaven in a bowl! Zest of 1 lime. 3tbsp coconut oil (at room temperature). 2tbsp crunchy almond butter. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C (fan). Grease a large baking dish with coconut oil. Spoon the crumble mixture ove...

Rachel goes abroad!: Noooon, je ne regrette rien...
http://yearabroadfuntimes.blogspot.com/2014/06/noooon-je-ne-regrette-rien.html
Sunday, 29 June 2014. Noooon, je ne regrette rien. So, we're approaching the end. We're on the home stretch. I return to rainy old England in less than two weeks ( where on earth has the time gone? I worked my final day as Kelly's stagiaire. And left the infamous coworking office behind ( coworking. Fond farewell to the office door. Me (on looking outside and seeing the blazing sunshine): Aw, the weather's so lovely! Exactly the right weather for Pimm's. Coworker 2: You mean the biscuits? This last week ...

Rachel goes abroad!: Coasting through life in France
http://yearabroadfuntimes.blogspot.com/2014/05/coasting-through-life-in-france.html
Tuesday, 13 May 2014. Coasting through life in France. What I did there? Breaking news: I'm still alive! And I've not fallen off the face of the earth or been forcibly denied internet access this whole time. Nope, turns out I'm just a lazy blogger. Secret's out. Which I guess is a good thing. But nonetheless it's probably about time for a Rachel's-life-update, so here you are. Oh yeah, I moved house! What more could I want? That's right, nothing. So this isn't actually a great photo, but that's the beach...

Rachel goes abroad!: October 2013
http://yearabroadfuntimes.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Monday, 14 October 2013. Hedgehogs, High Jinx and a Happy, Happy Birthday! So, important news first: The Reichelts have HEDGEHOGS. They found three baby hedgehogs without a mother who would not have survived in the wild, and and took them home to look after throughout the winter. Unglaublich süß! Now, down to business. On Saturday, it was birthday time! Not my birthday of course, we've still got another month to wait! The night was finally rounded off when someone. After an (accidentally) extremely lazy ...

Rachel goes abroad!: BIARRITZ!!!
http://yearabroadfuntimes.blogspot.com/2014/03/biarritz.html
Tuesday, 4 March 2014. I'm feeling too tired and boring to think up a punny post title today, but I will at some point, I promise! So, as you probably guessed from the title of this post, I have officially arrived in my second year-abroad destination: Biarritz. "Where? You ask. Good question. I had no idea either until I accepted the job here (about 3 weeks before my placement was due to start - last minute, anyone? Travelling there was quite an undertaking! Bit different to how I imagined. What's more, ...

Rachel goes abroad!: November 2013
http://yearabroadfuntimes.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, 21 November 2013. So, a couple of weeks ago, Year Abroad Fever (of the travelling variety) struck again, and saw me and my friend Isobel planning a ganz spontan. Bonn is nice :). I have to confess, this change of plans suited me nicely, not least because it gave me an excuse to think of a punny post title (let's face it, Luxembourg just doesn't lend itself well to this type of humour), as well as that hideous (but brilliant, admit it) atrocity above (Bring it Bonn! All crammed into a warehouse.

Rachel goes abroad!: Making waves! (a.k.a. Zoe came to stay)
http://yearabroadfuntimes.blogspot.com/2014/05/making-waves-aka-zoe-came-to-stay.html
Friday, 23 May 2014. Aka Zoe came to stay). So, it's the end of another week in lovely BAB (abbreviation for the connected towns of Biarritz-Anglet-Bayonne - remember that! There might be a quiz.), and another week closer to my impending departure, about which my head is stuck firmly in the metaphorical sand. But we're not here to talk about that (or the equally-impending and equally head-in-sand-inducing year abroad essay deadline! Today's topic is a lot more exciting! ZOE CAME TO VISIT!
