A Word on the Hansens. Friday, November 27, 2009. Shopping on Black Friday. With the store map I was able to find my items easily and surprisingly enough they still had what I needed to get. The checkout lines at Walmart today were also a nice and welcoming surprise! Carrie and I waited only 10 minutes to make it though the line! I love the day after thanksgiving! A Word on the Hansens. Tuesday, November 24, 2009. Well, we now have a blog. huh. but what to write? I guess we will start with what we love. Go COWBOYS! Currently Ben is working at Lowe's and planning to go to BATC starting January 4th! He will be starting in the IT program working full time and doing 20 hours a week at school. Holly is working at a daycare called patchwork playhouse. I know. I know another daycare. when will it end? We will be a very busy family! Happy Thanksgiving to ya'll!

New Year's Eve, we headed to my parents’ house to par-tay with my siblings and their families. It was especially fun, since this is the first year in quite a few that Kevin hasn’t had to work, so we got to spend the whole night together. We had a blast playing games and sharing good food. Wednesday, September 14, 2011. It's September and that means it's State Fair time. The last time we were at the State Fair was a couple of years ago, so we decided it would be fun for Abi to go again this year. Abi has a little apprehension when it comes to animals, especially bigger animals that aren't dogs or cats. I was hoping that she would have fun anyway. This goat kept trying to eat Abi's stroller. Biggest onion I've ever seen. This pumpkin weighed almost 1000 lbs! I'm growing these next year.
