Handicare is a child care facility licensed by the State of Iowa and follows all the rules and regulations as outlined by the Child Care Licensing Standards. A copy of these standards is available by request or can be found on the DHS website as Chapter 109 of the administrative rules. Many of the policies and procedures in the manual were taken directly from Caring for Our Children, Health and Safety Standards, third edition. Coralville, IA. 52241. Hours 6:30am - 6:30pm.

Handicare accepts enrollment year round. A simple enrollment process is as follows. Fill out our Rate Sheet. Secure an opening by submitting a non refundable $50 per child registration fee. Complete and return an enrollment packet 2 days prior to your expected start date. Full Time Monthly (6:30am to 6:30pm). 3 to 5 years old. K to 3rd grade. Flexible Part Time Monthly (max 30/hours week). 3 to 5 years old. K to 3rd grade. Standard Part Time Monthly (7:30am to 12:30pm) or. 3 to 5 years old. K to 3rd grade.

Handicare has full and part-time employment opportunities. You can download an application or stop by Handicare and request a copy. Completed application should also be returned to Handicare. Minimum requirement for employment. Must be at least 16 years of age. Must pass a state and national criminal record check. Must pass a dependant adult and child abuse registry check. Must obtain a pre-employment physical that includes a TB test. Free off street parking. Price child care tuition.
