Hand in Hand Project. How can you help. Without our funders Hand in Hand would not exist. The Big Lottery has given Hand in Hand a grant of  225,270 to help towards a 5 year expansion plan from September 2011 to August 2016. 5 year expansion plan outcomes. 40 isolated older people will be receiving the one-to-one support of a befriender, leading to improved self confidence and quality of life by the end of the 5 year funding.
