Us with one of the props at the AWCP's 14th annual "Great American Hoedown" fundraiser. Heath (the son of a banker), getting the best exchange rate on USD's. Thursday, May 24, 2007. Liveaboard Boat to the Tubbataha Reef. Some friends of friends of ours had booked a vacation to this reef, but weren't able to go and had to either eat the loss or sell it within a week, so Heath and I jumped on the chance to go to a top diving spot (at a significant discount)! While we are something of novice divers, the rest of the passengers were pretty hard core, so we learned a lot and were amazed by the beauty of God's underwater world. Happy hour on the deck!

Monday, March 26, 2007. Our first International visitor- Amy Dobson! Amy Dobson (aka Dobs)- you rock! Thanks for taking the plunge and being our "guinea pig". Can't tell you enough how fun and encouraging it was to get to share life here in Manila with you. We love you, and we can't wait for your next visit! This is the Starbucks a block from our condo. Jeepneys are the local transportation equivalent to the "Dillo" in Austin except that there are a bazillion of them, and they're always brightly decorated.
