Der Weg in die Gemeinschaft. Wie werde ich eine Handmaid? Die Grundausbildung als fortschreitendes Wachstum in der Armut auf Christis Anrufe geschieht während des ganzen Lebens. Die Grundausbildung unserer Kongregation umfasst 3 Stufen. Mindestalter für die Aufnahme in die Kongregation ist das vollendete 19. Lebensjahr. Die Generalleitung hat ihren Sitz in Ifuho (Ikot Ekpene) Nigeria. Das Generalkapitel, die hoechste beschlussfassende Autoritaet und Vertretung unserer Ordensgemeinschaft, waehlt die Generaloberin. Schwester Leonie Martha Okaraga. Die Amtszeit von Generaloberin und Assistentinnen betraegt jeweils sechs Jahre; die Schwestern koennen für diese Aufgabe einmal für weitere 6 Jahre gewaehlt werden. Weil wir so zahlreich wurden, beschloss unsere Gemeinschaft auf der Generalversammlung, genannt Generalkapitel (8.-26. März 1996), sich in vier Provinzen zu teilen. Damit konnten und können wir unsere Administration effektiver gestalten. Die Kongregation in Nigeria ist in Provinzen gegliedert. In ihrer Gesamtheit wird sie von der Generaloberin mit ihrem Rat geleitet. 2008 wurde die Kenia Mission zur Region ernannt.
