Washed by the Water: Journal entry: "Clarity"
http://alasmontanasylosrios.blogspot.com/2011/10/journal-entry-clarity.html
Washed by the Water. Living life as a journey. Embracing love. Learning what it is to have streams of living water flow out from within me to glorify Jesus Christ. I've been saying "it's not about me." I never meant it. The heart change that only God could have done is realized because of the peace that passes understanding, and the desire to glorify the Lord in this season because of the LOVE HE HAS FOR ME . And so we know. The love God has for us. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Green Wedding Shoes...

My Thoughts and Ravings As I Try To Follow CHRIST. NT Wright on Philemon. Anyhow, today N.T. Wright a writer and thinker that I respect a great deal announced that he is offering an online course on the letter to Philemon for free. Here’s the link. I’ve signed up for it and would love to hear what others who sign up also think about what we learn. Leave a comment on N.T. Wright on Philemon. Leave a comment on Godaddy, ARGH! The Art of Being Random. Living one day at a time. Or at least trying to. Tuesday, July 28, 2009. A new chapter is about to begin! After months of waiting, I finally got my visa to the UK! I'm stoked about this opportunity! Please pray for safety as I live in a foreign country for a year and pray for the people I'll be interacting with. I'll try to blog as much as I cam when in London. Posted by Junior Moya. Monday, July 20, 2009. How many more strikes will it take? Posted by Junior Moya. If you didn't r...

The Art of Being Random: October 2010

The Art of Being Random. Living one day at a time. Or at least trying to. Tuesday, October 12, 2010. When you do your job right, you expect people to commend you. But such is not the case for bus drivers in Lima. This past Monday I was on a bus that did not have a conductor. So the driver was making people pay him as soon as they hopped on the bus. Now, how dangerous and reckless is that - dealing with money and giving tickets to passengers whilst driving a vehicle! Posted by Junior Moya.

The Jackson 4 - Las Vegas. Good Riddance, 2008 - Hello, 2009! 2008 was not the best of years for me. I felt horrible the first half of the year dealing with hyperthyroidism, then I had my thyroid killed in the beginning of July. By the end of November I finally felt somewhat normal again. Who knew it would take almost 6 months to get thyroid levels straight? There were some good things that happened in 2008 - I got a promotion at work, Bradley continues to excel at swimming and academics, Ella is getting...

'Why in the world would you say such a thing? You wonder. Well, I'll tell you . it actually rained in Lima! You know what's funny is that I actually prayed for rain not too long ago. Silly request? Perhaps. But look at what happened. Just goes to show my God can do anything . even make it rain in Lima! You have something that belongs to me!

Adventures in South America: May 2008
http://sandi-in-peru.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Adventures in South America. Saturday, May 17, 2008. They brought out my soup first. I'm not sure what I was expecting, or if I was even expecting anything . I've learned to be pleasantly surprised by all sorts of random things. As I was slurping up my soup, I noticed one of the 'chunks' didn't look quite normal. So I scooped it up, only to follow it up with the question of "what is that? So, next time you order some chicken soup and find a bone, don't complain. At least it's only a bone.

Adventures in South America. Monday, December 31, 2007. War Zones, Yellow Underwear, and Luggage . Feliz Ano! I realized that, if for no other reason, God has allowed me to struggle with this language so that I would not shout at people in words they can actually understand. I'm so glad God has a sense of humor . and that He protects me even from silly things like fireworks. Thursday, December 27, 2007. Bland diets are BORING! Olive oil (or any other kind of oil). Spices of any kind. I forgot to include ...
