You teach - we do the rest. As the demands on teachers grow, there is less class time for labor intensive hands-on science activities. HandsforScience (H4S) helps teachers do hands-on activities in their classrooms, during the school day. H4S volunteers help prepare materials, assist the teacher during the lesson, and when it’s over, clean up and put away the supplies. H4S works with teachers and schools to acquire, organize and maintain materials for hands-on science activities. 2012 Hands for Science.

What You'll Do. You teach - we do the rest. When you volunteer as a H4S. Aide, every other week you’ll help a class do a hands-on science activity. Session lasts 45 minutes in the classroom and requires 15-30 minutes of prep and clean-up time. We ask that you allot 2 hours total for each H4S. Session (most sessions will last a little over an hour total, but allocating 2 hours gives you a cushion). Volunteering takes place on the campus of the local schools that have a relationship with HandsforScience.

Breast feed should not be stopped all of a sudden. Weaning can start from the 5th or 6th month. The process should be gradual. The child can be completely weaned at the end of 9th or 10th month.
