Hands of Hope NC. Please visit the contact page for donations. Our February team is a mix of surgical and medical providers based out of Winston-Salem, NC. This trip began in 2006. Our June team focuses primarily on performing surgeries, however we do have one clinic day in the Bateys. 2013 marks our third trip. We perform approximately 80 surgeries per week, ranging from hysterectomies, cholecystectomies, ENT surgery, hernia repairs, and wound care. We work in a local hospital in the city of Barahona.

We treat ailments such as hypertension, scabies, parasites, diabetes, infections, and musculoskeletal pain.
