JWRAYCO: April 2009
http://jwrayandco.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 13, 2009. We have returned from the Greencastle Fiber Event. It was a cold and blustery weekend! We had a great time; sold lots of yarn, patterns, knitting needles and stuff. Here you can see one of my students work from the rigid heddle class. She chose rayon ribbon, blue singles and a cotton rickrack yarn to create her scarf. Janet and I are back in the studio dying yarn. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Visit Our Favorite Websites. International Year of Natural Fibres.

JWRAYCO: midwest weavers conference
http://jwrayandco.blogspot.com/2009/07/midwest-weavers-conference.html
Wednesday, July 1, 2009. What a time at the midwest weavers conference in Grinnell Iowa. It was hot and humid and unfortunately the gym was not airconditioned. All the vendors were in the gym. But we met lots of great folks, the classes were great and there were some beautiful yarns and fibers (of course, ours the best), and lots of books and weaving stuff. Keep cool, Janet. Spinning Natural Dyes Weaving: May 2006
http://lecarroll.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
Spinning Natural Dyes Weaving. Wednesday, May 10, 2006. What fun in Maryland. Journey Charkha's on display at Maryland Sheep and Wool. So inviting, to just stop by and test drive the book charkha. I resisted the temptation, for another charkha, but I did get an ebony drop spindle with a cocobola shaft. It spins like a dream. I spun gotland wool all the way home on the plane. Early morning at Hillcreek Fibers, the square loom set up to make a rectangular shawl. This is a great new design for the squar...
