Saturday, May 16, 2009. A Star is Born. The evening of May 15 was the debut of Daniel's acting career. And a stellar debut it was (says the Mom). The drama club at Chamberlin Hill (comprised of 5th graders only) presented their rendition of "CHTV" to their proud parents and family members. There were many short skits based on some of today's most popular television programs. Our star-in-the-making was in two of the vignettes: "Hannah Montana" and "The Apprentice". The range of skating experience was quite varied from Daniel, who was a first time skater; Noah, who was a second time skater; And some of Noah's friends who brought their own skates. Thursday, August 28, 2008. The boys and I checked out our local county fair today after school. In fact, they have early dismissal part of this week because of the fair. Their first order of business once we arrived was to go on some of the rides. After Daniel made himself sick by riding a twisting ride one too many times, they loaded up on sugar and we made our way around the livestock barns. Findlay always holds theirs the 4th Thursday of October.
