Poole Illustration: L.A. Noire
http://pooleillustration.blogspot.com/2012/03/la-noire.html
Thursday, March 8, 2012. I’m ashamed because I hadn’t heard of L.A. Noire until someone sent me a request asking if I'd draw the main characters. Even though I wasn't familiar with the cast, they were a lot of fun to draw (although somewhat challenging due to their similarities as well as me not being familiar with the characters.) I tried to capture the uniqueness of their features though. So here are a few doodles of Cole Phelps, Herschel Biggs, Roy Earle, Stefan Bekowsky, Rusty Galloway, and Jack Kelso.

Bryce Homick: The Apocryphon
http://zombatart.blogspot.com/2013/10/the-apocryphon_6.html
Sketches, work in progress, and finished work. Experimenting with new techniques, to great effect! I'm happy with how things are beginning to move. I will hopefully soon have more to post. In the meantime, enjoy this awesome Lego Recreation. Of the Homeworld-style ship. I drew a few months back by Jacob Unterreiner. I've never had my drawings turned into a lego creation! Poole Illustration: Strongbox Magazine
http://pooleillustration.blogspot.com/2011/12/strongbox-magazine.html
Saturday, December 31, 2011. This past November I was contacted by Strongbox Magazine. Asking if I'd like to illustrate a two page spread for their upcoming issue. The project was adorable (the Editor-in-Chief's sister-in-law found a story she had written in the 4th grade about her friendship with her pencil) and I'm honored they asked me to contribute! The magazine just went up and my work can be found on pages 38 and 39. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Alyse ★ poole. 8594; illustration website.

Poole Illustration: September 2011
http://pooleillustration.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 19, 2011. Thanks to recommendations from my patrons and coworkers, I've been plowing through various Young Adult book series. After enjoying The Hunger Games. I was told about Divergent. And ended up finishing it in one night. I enjoyed it a lot and did some drawings afterwards. Tris and (a drunk, not blushing) Four. Tris, Al, Christina, and Will. And finally Four, Tris, and Eric. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Alyse ★ poole. 8594; illustration website. 8594; plushie blog.

Pen or pencil?: December 2012
http://makotsu.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 24, 2012. So it's been about two years since I got my electric guitar. Man, time flies! I still play pretty regularly, and I feel like I've come a decent way since my beginning days. I don't want to call this an anniversary or anything cus that feels way too celebratory, but it's still something special. I went to see Jason Becker: Not Dead Yet. Check it out if you can y'alls. And Happy Holidays! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Thursday, March 27, 2014. Here There Be Sprinkles. Been meaning to do something with the character forever, and last week I finally figure out something and then proceeded to drive myself crazy trying to finish this in time. This probably won’t be the last you see of her. Also Cake doughnut are better than yeast doughnuts. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Find Me Other Places. Here There Be Sprinkles. Tyler Parker: Mother of Wieners
http://penguinsdawn.blogspot.com/2014/01/mother-of-wieners.html
Monday, January 13, 2014. A friend asked me if I could draw her as Daenerys Targaryen but with Dachshunds instead of dragons. I couldn't help but oblige. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Find Me Other Places. VTKids Feb. 2014 Cover. Follow me on Twitter. Simple template. Powered by Blogger.
