Charis Connection: March 2006
http://charisconnection.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
My heart is stirred by a noble theme as I recite my verses for the king; my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer." Psalm 45:1. Friday, March 31, 2006. HA: A True Story. So shy Cheryl, with low self-esteem, worked up the nerve to start sending my manuscripts to other writers whom I thought would understand my predicament. I mean, they'd been there, too, at one time, right? They knew what it was like to paper their walls with rejection slips. His assistant- ASSISTANT, mind you! It's amazing how much more...

Girls Write Out: Review of Frigidaire Induction Cooktop
http://girlswriteout.blogspot.com/2015/01/review-of-frigidaire-induction-cooktop.html
Friday, January 02, 2015. Review of Frigidaire Induction Cooktop. This is a peek at my new kitchen. We don’t have the backsplash up yet but you can see a bit of it. :). But this is a small price to pay for all the benefits. 1 Things cook fast. I mean FAST. The highest level of power on a burner boils water in my teakettle in just over a minute. 2 The kitchen stays cooler. 4 The cooktop stays cooler. It still gets hot from the hot pot but not nearly as hot as if the burner is actually on. Posted at 4:58 PM.

It’s a large Burger King bag, lying on its side. Deep in my gut I know it came from the same car that tossed out the duffel bag. It is just too unusual for this neighborhood. Some kids on a cruise last night that’s all this is. No missing man, no murder. Clean up the trash like a good citizen. Clean up the trash. I jog away,...

About Mae

The youngest of four kids, I grew up in Houston, Texas. No matter where I may roam for the rest of my life, I'm first and foremost a Texan! My father-in-law (an Englishman) likes to remind me You can always tell a Texan but you can't tell them much. He has me pegged. I was always a natural performer, loved to dance and be center stage (and that's never changed! And still managed to earn a Bachelor's of Communication from the University of Texas. Ever wonder about a writer's natural habitat?
