Just keeping family and friends in touch with what's happening. Saturday, February 25, 2012. New Zealand, Here We Are (part 1). Well, a lot has happened since my last update, like a lot so I'm going to update with pictures and it might get long. :). We did manage to squeeze in a visit to Brevard. I think the only pictures taken were by Cate. After, we loaded all our stuff on the container we did not sleep on the floor, but stayed with MarMar and JonJon. They spoiled us rotten and we will/do miss them!

Just keeping family and friends in touch with what's happening. Monday, January 14, 2013. At Granny and Granddad's - Kayaking and Beach Play. Our last day trip we went down to the river mouth and played on the beach and some of us took Granddad's kayak for a spin. Eleanor and Granny joined us a bit later after taking a trip to the special fairy shop in town. Once they got there we had a picnic and enjoyed the sunshine until it was time to head home for a nap. On the kayak, ready to go. To fill the bucket.

Just keeping family and friends in touch with what's happening. Tuesday, September 25, 2012. We have added two new members to our family - Baby and Elizabeth Lamb. Some friends from Hedgehope who breed Dorset Down sheep gave us a pet lamb each for the big kids to rear up. Each kids got to name their own lamb. Guess who's is who's. All kids think the baby lambs are great and both Eleanor and Marshall are really good about feeding them four times a day! The Lambs love to chase the kids. Such good pet owners.

Just keeping family and friends in touch with what's happening. Tuesday, October 16, 2012. Andrew had the weekend off and when we woke up and it was a nice day we quickly packed a picnic lunch, loaded up the canoe, fed the lambs. And headed off to Te Anau and found a great place to eat, hang out, cast the fishing line, and take the kids on rides down the river. (Note: Mommy forgot the camera - thank goodness for cell phone cameras! Marshall playing on the river. Edith enjoyed playing on the cushion.

Packing lunches is not my favorite part of school. Day in and day out this task must be done and it is so easy to fall into a ‘sandwich, chips, fruit, done! 8217; rut.
