Fur of the outcasts- Works in progress. Sunday, 6 July 2014. It's been a while. It's been a while since I blogged. But things are happening behind the scenes (slowly). To get back into the spirit of things, and clear out my smart phone 'notes', here is the work of some names I jotted down from the Jerwood Drawing Prize 2013. Roy Eastland's. Silverpoint drawing portraits were of obvious interest and beauty to me. And my favourite, dance wallpaper. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Its been a while.

Fur of the outcasts- Works in progress. Monday, 17 December 2012. I'm liking day 16. Thursday, 13 December 2012. A few years back I met the lovely Eveline. As well as some wonderful conversations I got to watch her quietly sit and draw. What a talented lady. Nip over and have a look at her beautiful, fun and quirky work. I love the bumble bee! Saturday, 1 December 2012. That time of year again. I look forward to this every year, an advent calender with a difference over at Christmas is happening.

Devorah Hall: May 2012
http://devorahhall.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Monday, 21 May 2012. Another Cambridge tournament.another poster! Very beautifully crafted medals made by Harvey were awarded to the top three teams of the tournament. So I decided to link my poster to this kind of prize giving. Here is a sneaky peek of what goes on in my sketchbooks. Starts off as messy nonsense which then grows in various directions until I feel satisfied with the image. This page illustrates some scribbles, a starting point for a poster I was working on. Devorah Hall: Stumbled upon this
http://devorahhall.blogspot.com/2012/11/stumbled-upon-this.html
Sunday, 11 November 2012. I totally forgot about these purses/bags I made for a group of little girls when I was living in Milan, Italy, in 2006, at the age of 18. I had just received my first sewing machine, the one I still use today, as a gift from some lovely ladies, as a Christmas present. I stumbled upon these photos through my old 'Photobucket' account that I also forgot I had set up. Thought it might be rather nice to post them on here to keep a record of them. Saturday, 24 November 2012. For two of the wall spaces during my exhibition I decided to revive a couple of old wooden logs that were ready for the fire. I saved them and changed their destiny into decorative pieces that can be hung on the wall! Friday, 23 November 2012. Devorah hall@hotmail.co.uk.
