Friday, January 30, 2015. After a very long week of many internship interviews (great job Seth! We took a family break and went to the OSU pool. John had a blast! He loved the waterfall and the slide. It was adorable when he would look over and wave at me :). John went under once, not on purpose. But he took it like a champ! Saturday, February 28, 2015. I SWAM. A. MILE! I didn't think it would be this soon. I am so thankful for this body that God has given me! I am thankful that after all I have been through, God is giving me the chance to exercise my body and to build strength and endurance again. It is such a blessing to have a healthy body! I feel that because I know I can do this, now, the possibilities are even greater. I will keep working, and I will keep progressing. Now I plan to "Just keep swimming.". What a big boy!

Tuesday, July 14, 2015. A Change of Format. Hello, all you faithful readers! I just wanted to let you know that I am trying a new format - Instagram! And I forward my posts to facebook as well). I decided to make this change so that I could easily print out my posts into books and have it already in the same format, ready to go. Saturday, August 30, 2014. One, Two, Three, Four. SEVEN! I am so thankful to be able to stay home with John, and to teach him all that I know. It is a great privilege to be his mother and to get to stay home with him and raise him how we want him to be raised. People often ask me now, since we just moved, "What are you going to do? Are you going to get a job? In Spanish is favorite number is "Ocho" (8) and he often skips "Siete" (7) to get to ocho. Go figure :) He is so cute! Thursday, August 28, 2014.

Thursday, May 14, 2015. This picture of me and Seth was taken at my grandma Shepard's house years ago, although I am not sure how many years. Maybe three or four. I sure love this man. And I hope that he is having a wonderful life changing experience helping people in a very rural village of Kenya. I am excited to hear from him on Sunday, and know that he's safe. Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Safari Time and Flowers. We got to talk to Seth this morning. He got to be outside the house he is staying at. It looks nice! He is looking forward to going on a Safari until Saturday. The first rose bloomed on our rose bush today! And I may have bought some petunias at Kroger to plant, because flowers make me so happy! Wednesday, April 29, 2015. The flowers come from an admirer, but its no secret. I love spring time. It is a reminder to me that God loves us. That's why He sends us flowers every year. :).
