Wednesday, 13 April 2011. Cat Ba and Snake Village. On the 9th of April, a group of 11 of us got out of bed early to catch a boat from Hai Phong to Cat Ba island (part of the Ha Long Bay group). Rocks rose out of the water as we sped (crawled) along, which was fairly spooky on a misty day! The harbour was gorgeous and I must admit, the thing that made it even more so was the sun! Monday, 30 May 2011. So, I am packed and readyish to go. I will be coming back to this house for one last time tonight (double check I've got everything! Then off to China! Very excited about travelling, but sad to leave the house and Hanoi. The last few days have been a blur of goodbyes and organising - whilst also fitting in a quick doctors visit!
